四賀は綺麗な化石が有名です。皆さんは自分で化石発掘をした経験はありますか？そう、今週は化石大発掘Day！もしかしたら世紀の大発見が待っているかもしれません！もし化石を発掘できなかったら…？自分たちオリジナルの化石をつくってみよう！様々な大きさの石を使って五常キャンパスの校庭に化石を作ってみよう！
Shiga is known for its beautiful fossils. On this day we will enjoy the outdoors, finding rocks that we can use to make our own huge fossile in the schoolyard.
July 9
皆さんは”モス・アート”をご存じですか？コケで作ったアートのことです。コケって面白い。コケって不思議。身近にあるコケを使ってアートができるの？その方法はなんだろう？ぜひ参加してモス・アートの製作者になってみてください！作ったモス・アートは五常キャンパスで飾ります。
On this day we will set up our tarp and search our school’s area to find moss. We will blend all moss with other ingredients to make paint. We will use our paint to make paintings inspired on our surroundings. Once they are finished, we can display them in the school.
July 23
小さな地球作りビンやジャーの中に、土、石、コケを組み合わせてオリジナルのエコシステムを作ってみます。エコシステムは、小さな地球のよう。家に持ち帰り、作ったエコシステムが少しづつ育っていく様子を楽しめます。
We will create a base using our tarp and wood blocks. After that we will look for soil, plants, rocks and small insects for our closed ecosystem. We will choose a nice container for our ecosystem and start designing it.
