About UOI 5, we, together with Ms. Miwa, visited Tabekura Farm Matsumoto, for our educational trip about farmers’ jobs like on how they manage, sustain and maintain their plantations. During our trip, we’ve met some farmers there doing some plot cultivation and other farm preparations. One of their representatives, a lady, who accommodate us answering courageously some of our queries to the best of her knowledge. During the interview, she showed us the Bokashi manure houses (natural fertilizer made from rice bran and rice husks) and explained the benefits of it in growing plants and vegetables. After a couple of questions, she toured us again in the Komatsuna and Mizuma houses where there were healthy plants and vegetables springing up. At the end of the day, they gave us some radish for us to take home as a simple present. Thank you so much for your warmest accommodation. More success to your business and workers.
