What should you do in the event of an emergency such as a fire or an earthquake?
On the morning of October 20, 2022, ISN-Gojo held an evacuation drill. Students in grade 5 practiced the Drop, Cover, and Hold maneuver during the earthquake drill, an effective preventive action that anyone can do to survive an earthquake.
There was also a fire drill for the entire school. All students and teachers evaluated and exited the building after learning from Ms Misae that there was a fire in the Science room. We gathered on the school grounds and stayed with our class. We were only allowed to return to our classrooms after the school building had been deemed safe.
