Hello everyone! I hope that everyone has had a good week. We’ve been having some sweet, warm weather.
This week, the students finished off their timelines on the evolution of human species. This became a really interesting topic as we learned a lot of things. After they finished, we reviewed their work as a class and most of the students found that they were not really satisfied with the efforts that they had put forth. The decision was taken for the students to redo their work on the timelines. Their second drafts were much better and that gave them the opportunity to revise the information that they had learned earlier.
We also began our second line of inquiry, which is about the body systems. In LOI 2, the students will mainly focus on 6 body systems, the digestive, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory and skeletal systems.
This week has been a busy week of preparing for the first ever ISN Spring Festival on the 22nd of April. We look forward to seeing you all, and we hope that you will have a lot of fun and enjoy the festivities.
