Hello everyone! After some weeks away for the summer, I hope that everyone had great holidays. As we roll into the 2nd half of the school term, we introduce a new unit, new students, and we will review the summer holidays as well.
I have been away for 5 weeks as I had travelled back to South Africa to visit family and it was the best time of my life. I will be honest, I have had also forgotten how scorching the Japanese summer can be, and I was quickly reminded of that.
This week has been a slow week and a slow start, as we resume our normal schedule. We started off with an introduction to our new unit, which is all about governance.
Preparations for the annual ISN Sports Festival also began this week, as students got started with songs and dance routines.
Friday will also see us have our first emergency drill in quite a while. We hope that will be a fun one!
